C. David Strait (‘David’) is the sole proprietor of the company Strait Answers®–a marketing company in California that focuses on hospitality industry marketing, specializing in RV campgrounds and resorts throughout the U.S.A. David has been employed full time in the RV camping industry since 1993, and in the hospitality industry since 1979.

David started Strait Answers® as an independent advertising service in January 1995, and has worked with over 100 campground industry clients on numerous projects. Prior to that he worked as Director of Marketing for the Terra Vista Resort company in San Diego, where he managed an advertising budget of $103,000 for four separate properties: Campland on the Bay (700 sites), DeAnza Bay Resort (247 sites), Mission Bay Golf Course and Victor’s on the Bay (restaurant).
Before that David was the Regional Marketing Manager, San Diego for the luxury dinner cruise company Hornblower Yachts/Invader Cruises. Fresh out of college David was Ticket Office Supervisor and then Passenger Services Coordinator for the Red and White Fleet on San Francisco Bay.
David has a BA degree in Psychology from the prestigious University of California at Berkeley, CA. He specialized in statistics.
Married with two daughters–one a former US Marine. Both are in 4 year universities.
Holds a U.S. Coast Guard license to operate passenger vessels.
